It’s amazing what people can do in one day. I think society for the most part is lazy. We tend to squander our days off. For most people we work all week waiting for our day off, or days off. When they finally arrive we do nothing with them. Maybe it because we work so hard that when we finally get a day off we are too tired to get motivated. I am guilty of this. I hustle my ass off at work, and occasionally glance outside at the sunshine and think to myself “I wish I could just leave work right now and go ride.” When my days off finally arrive I find myself playing catch up with everything else that I have put off, laundry, dishes, any form of cleaning basically. I wake up and their is so much shit to do that by the time I am done I just want to sit down and chill. Then my work week rolls around again, and I am bummed that I didn’t do anything. It is hard to break out of the cycle. Maybe that is why most people don’t. If you think about it, we work hard to pay our bills, eat, and buy shit to keep us occupied. When we were kids we didn’t need tons of shit to keep us occupied, we spent most of our free time out doors with our friends finding things to do that didn’t cost money. As adults it appears as though without money we can’t find a single thing to do, so we just sit around and complain about not having any money. Then videos like this fall in my lap and I realize that their are people out there who can make the most of 1 day. Film a whole 2 minute edit in one day. I know riders who go out for weeks and can’t amass enough clips to put out a 2 minute edit. Akira threw down a lot of tricks for 1 day.
I also love the fact that this is truly a 1 day edit. Most of the time when I get a video that is titled 1 day edit, I know it is bullshit. How? Because the rider is in four different outfits for his supposed 1 day. No one wears 4 different outfits in 1 day! I call shenanigans! Akira really did film this in one day, and damn he made the most of that day.
Got something to say? Go for it!
